Inside KAVIO: the company behind QueryOn

KAVIO is a Singapore software house building AI-native products. Here is how the pieces fit together — and why the products get their own names.
KAVIO is a small software company in Singapore. We build AI-native products, run them ourselves, and keep the company deliberately simple: one holding identity, and products that stand on their own feet.
The structure, in one paragraph
KAVIO is the company — the team, the engineering culture, the balance sheet. QueryOn (queryon.tech) is our first product: an AI-visibility platform that measures how AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude talk about your brand, then fixes what loses you the answer. More products are in the workshop, and each will carry its own name too.
Why products get their own brands
When a product and a company share a name, neither can move freely. A product brand needs to be specific — it should mean exactly one thing in a buyer's head. A company brand needs to be roomy — it has to hold everything the team will build over a decade. Splitting them costs a little marketing efficiency today and buys a lot of freedom tomorrow.
It also keeps incentives honest: QueryOn has to win on its own merits, with its own P&L, its own customers, its own reputation. KAVIO's job is to give it engineering, capital and taste — then stay out of the way.
What this blog is now
This blog used to carry our writing about AI visibility and answer-engine optimisation. That entire catalogue now lives where it belongs — on queryon.tech/blog, next to the product it describes. Old links redirect automatically, so nothing you bookmarked is lost.
From today, kavio.tech is where we write about the company itself: how we build, what we learn shipping AI products from Southeast Asia for the world, and what we're building next.
